DESIGN ENGINEER
The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development
of cutting-edge equipment, from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for light construction equipment.
- Produce detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and quality.
- Ensure designs meet relevant safety, regulatory, and performance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in product design and manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline qualifications.
- Proven experience in a design engineering role (ideally within manufacturing or construction equipment)
- Proficiency in CAD software, e.g. SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical principles.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
