The successful candidates will be offered a PERMANENT contract on either a full time or part time basis, working an annualised hours system of a nominal 2,197 hours per year with a variety of shift patterns available to suit family commitments

ELECTRICAL or MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER


Altrad Belle are currently seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader the successful candidate will join a small team of inhouse engineers and carry out both planned and reactive maintenance in an efficient and timely manner.

The successful candidate will be offered a PERMANENT contract working an annualised hours system of a nominal 1,989 hours per year with various shift patterns.

Ideally you will have:

  • A qualification and/or apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or working
  • towards)
  • Previous experience within a similar role, ideally in an engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, robotics and CNC are desired but not essential
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Awareness of Electricity at work and relevant codes of practice
  • Good problem solving and fault finding
  • Preferably 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Honest, hard working and reliable


What the job involves:

  • To carry out PPM,
  • To respond to any breakdowns and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently and inline
  • with procedures
  • To ensure a safe working environment/safe working practises are adopted at all times and any potential health & safety hazards are reported immediately
  • To complete work-related risk assessments
  • To carry out fault finding and rectification to all machinery on site etc
  • Carry out any modification projects
  • Attend site emergencies outside of normal working hours
  • To carry out all site maintenance tasks as required

CUSTOMER SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR


Altrad Belle are currently seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious Customer Service Administrator.
Reporting to the Service Manager the successful candidate will join a small team of in-house
Administrators to ensure that customer queries are dealt with and orders are processed efficiently.

The successful applicant must have a natural ability with people to ensure queries are managed
efficiently, professionally and accurately. The individual must be energetic, target driven and focused
on meeting customer demands.
The main duties and responsibilities required for this position are:

  • Answering and dealing with calls in a professional manner
  • Entering of customer orders ensuring a high attention to detail
  • Liaising with various departments in the organisation to ensure product availability
  • Competent use of the sales order processing system (Syspro, X3 or similar computer system) to provide order acknowledgments, delivery notes and invoices
  • Competent use and understanding of the export documents, (C/I, L/C, Eur1, Incoterms, Tariff Codes, C/O, bearing statements and any other documents required for export)
  • Complete use of credit card machine procedures for cash sales
  • Ensuring the most cost effective solution is selected for each delivery
  • Supporting the carrier group with relevant information to ensure successful deliveries
  • Dealing with the customer and liaising with carrier companies to solve customer queries
  • Checking all invoices to ensure charges are in line with contracted agreements
  •  Operating all IT related packages to successful links between Belle and carrier
  • Monitoring and review of late sales orders, keeping the customer up to date and sales order
    systems in line with customer requests
  • Weekly monitoring and review of sale or return responsibility on allocated regions
