To celebrate World Mental Health Day and as part of the Altrad initiative ‘Mental Health is a Universal Human Right’, employees at Altrad Belle today took part in a ‘Tea & Talk’ session where they were able to get together in a relaxed environment and chat together whilst having a drink and some cake.

Each purchase of a drink and cake also included an entry into a raffle to win a number of prizes that included a Warrior Wheelbarrow and a Pink Cosmo Wheelbarrow, amongst other things, with all proceeds going to mental health charities.

The session was organised by Jo and Sonia from the Altrad Belle HR dept. who had recently passed the FAQ Level 3 Award in Mental Health course and the majority of the cakes on offer were baked and donated by employees.

This day is a significant occasion to recognise the importance of mental well-being, not just for individuals but also for our workplaces and communities. Let's keep the conversation going and break the stigma surrounding mental health!
